Holy cow. How did this... alien get here? Well, maybe it isn't one! This animal is called the Giant Coconut Crab. Though it isn't an alien, it does have some odd behaviors... (hmm... is it an alien in disguise?). This crab has been reported to steal shiny things, like watches and other objects. Another thing they do is snip off a coconut from the tree, peel the coconut, then drop it repeatedly from the tree until it cracks. Pretty smart crab!

Bowfin, A TRUE Survivor
I'M BAAACK! Sorry it took so long to start the site again. I just had
problems with forgotten passwords and usernames, and one INCREDIBLY
slow computer. Now I have started adding posts EVERY Saturday, and
I took away the 'Weirdest animal countdown'. So, enough about the site.
Lets take a look at the fish I have been OBSESSED about catching. It is
called the Bowfin (A.K.A. The Lawyerfish, Lawyer, Mudfish, and
German Bass). This fish will give you the fight of your life when
it gets on your line. This fish has been around 250 million years. He saw
T-Rex die! Many say this fish is a 'Junk Fish' due to the fact that it is
only good to eat when fresh. If you want to learn more, go to
www.BowfinAnglers.com.

3. King of weird fish.
O.K. this fish, Golomyanka, has no scales, stays in only one lake and stays in the deepest part of the lake, so what else is weird? It dissolves almost instantly on contact with sunlight. What causes this? A special oil that they need to have to survive. Also this lake, Lake Baikal, has Golamyanka's main predator, also native to to this lake, the Nerpa Seal.

2. YETI ON THE BEACH!
It makes sense why this Yeti Crab got it's name! When I said ''YETI ON THE BEACH!'' it REALLY went against it's natural habitat. It was found 1,500km south of easter island at 2,200m deep in the ocean. It isn't exactly a crab, but a species of squat lobster. These animals are also color blind and able to use it's ''hair'' to purify the poison from hydrothermal vents using Filamentous Bacteria (I wish I could do that!).
