This guy is the desert jerboa! Its a nocturnal creature which only eats seeds ( no drinks included ). It also shelters in burrows at day ( at first I did not know it lived in burrows ).

Looks like this mouse could fly. I think I saw a cartoon with a flying mouse - maybe they got the idea looking at a desert gerboa. "Mighty Jerboa is on his way."
