Killer Crocodiles

I watched a show with my dad the other day about the killer crocodiles of Costa Rica. These baby crocodiles are in danger of being eaten by the blue crab. The babies are also hunted by the large birds of Costa Rica. The coati eats the crocodile's eggs. The few babies that survive grow up to be some of the most dangerous creatures in the world! Some great people try to save these baby crocodiles so that they will become adults.

Hi Matthew -

I have a question for you. We've been woken up several times this month by a raccoon that sneaks into our trash can. He somehow lifts the lid, grabs what he wants and then sits on the other trash can and eats his dinner. Often he makes a huge mess that I have to clean up in the morning. We've tried everything to get him to go away. We've left lights on, opened the garage door to scare him, hissed at him, etc. and the only thing that scares him is us coming at him with a broom. I know you love animals and want to protect them. Because of this, I won't harm him. But, I would really like him to leave us alone. Do you have any suggestions?

Sincerely,

Your Sleepless Aunt Jenn

P.S. Your uncle Aaron pegged the Raccoon last night with a ball. He scared the coon but that didn't stop it from coming back 10 minutes later! Can you believe it? This coon must be very hungry or we have one yummy trash can!!!
