I know you think the proboscis monkey's nose looks weird, and I can't explain why it is so LARGE!
Actually no one knows why it is so bizarre. Some say it is used as a snorkel, others say it regulates body temperature, but it is most likely to lure females (Another non-attractive way to find a mate!).

I'm glad you didn't get confused and post this picture of the monkey with a subtitle "Grandpa Bos." On days when the allergies are particularly bad, my nose might look like this.
it looks like a deflated balloon. can you imagine if you found this guy in your room in the middle of the night?!?! how scary.
I don't trust this monkey. I think he has beady eyes. I also think that he might have been drinking.
