A pygmy hippo thats what! This little animal's skin loses a lot of water so it spends most of it's life in the water (no wonder hippopotamus stands for river horse in greek). Most of these creatures are on the brink of extinction and we only know of about 21 of these animals in the world.

Maybe you could adopt one to place in your pond - but he'd need some trees and grasses to eat. Maybe Buddy would drag him around the yard like he did the cat.
They are super cute! I would love one as a pet. Are they gentle?
